Opening on the winter solstice, Friday 21 June, 5-7pm

SOLSTICE is a group exhibition of work by local artists, opening on the winter solstice following a course on professional art practice at the Castlemaine Community House.

Artists Sally Berridge, Jade Ferguson and Georgia Laughton have created new work to show at lot19 Gallery. 

Georgia Laughton has developed a collection of photographs reflecting her late-age autism diagnosis. Jade Ferguson has created symbolic oil paintings and black and white chiaroscuro portraits. Sally Berridge is exploring the effects of various papers and paints on watercolours, especially in Turner’s works.
